that thanksgiving is over it makes me sad

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. Its true most of it has to do with the food but I believe its the only uncorrupted holiday. There are no presents or unneeded characters. (like Santa or the Easter bunny). Thanksgiving is all about family and spending time with one another, its for giving thanks for having a wonderful family for being fortunate to join year after year. That's what the holidays are all about but all the other holidays have lost that. Instead its about presents and sale pitches. Its sad, but at least there is that last holiday which stands for what all the holidays used to stand for and that is thanksgiving.

that Im immune to the Twilight saga hype

Everyone is getting syked for the new twilight movie NEW MOON. I have actively tried to stay away for so long. Those books turned into a pathetic addiction for so many people. I wanted it to die down before I started lest my thoughts would be curved by the typical views of other people.

I havent seen either movie. But I have seen bits and pieces of the first and let me tell you it looks like the worst film ever. For that reason I don't think the next one can be that good. I don't know maybe a new director could have changed it and a new budget but since the first one had terrible acting the 2nd one has to have the same terrible actors. I will have to watch them and see if my suspicions are correct. But the main cause of this blog post was not about the movies seeing as I have not yet watched them I shouldn't judge.

I would therefore like to turn the attention to the books. I have read the first... and I find the romance in it to be very very good... of course that isn't my area of expertise... I tend to read suspense and mystery, therefore I would probably be a better judge on that side of things. That being said I would have to say that the first twilight novel though a lil over the top and corny and cheesy for me was also the best romance novel I have ever read. Of course I think I have only read two... I do like how well Stephenie Meyer describes what Bella feels and how she describes Edward. Very good description. Though even he very good depiction of there feelings got very boring. That is where she had to bring in a little bit of suspense. She tried pulled of one thing that very few authors can do. A good balance of romance and suspense... she didn't achieve her goal in book 1. The climax was skipped, skipped I say. She didnt have a climax... Her prologue was more exciting than her middle plot excitement. she should have had Edward swoop in and save her or some kind of epic run away scene that shows the scared feelings of Bella and joy that the hunter would get from the hunt. I will have to post again after the next book and watching the movies. I should do more critic blogs this was fun!

comment your thoughts I know there will be a lot of pissed twilight fans out there.
